Homecoming Week is here, and we’re ready to celebrate our Tigers with a full schedule of events for students, families, alumni, and the community! From spirit days to the big game, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Homecoming Assembly: September 19
The week kicks off early with the Homecoming Assembly at Huron High School. Students will come together to celebrate Tiger traditions, recognize court members, and build excitement for the days ahead.
Spirit Week: September 22–26
Students across all buildings will show their school spirit with themed dress-up days. Each day brings something new—so get those outfits ready and join the fun as we count down to Friday night! Dress-up details are available on social media and ParentSquare.
Homecoming Parade & Bonfire: September 24 at 7:00 p.m.
The community is invited to downtown Huron for the Homecoming Parade, featuring floats, student groups, and the HHS Marching Band. Immediately following, head to Huron Memorial Field for the annual Homecoming Bonfire, a favorite tradition to rally school spirit before the big game.
Hall of Fame Presentation: September 25 at 5:30 p.m.
Before Friday night’s kickoff, we’ll recognize this year’s Hall of Fame inductees during a special presentation at Messemburgs. Join us as we honor the alumni and community members who continue to make an impact.
Homecoming Game: September 26 at 7:00 p.m.
Friday night lights return to Huron Memorial Stadium as the Tigers take the field for the annual Homecoming Game. Don’t miss the Script Huron performance by the MMS and HHS Marching Bands—a highlight of the evening that showcases the talent of our student musicians.
Homecoming Dance: September 27, 8–10 p.m.
The week concludes with the Homecoming Dance at Woodlands. Students will gather to celebrate the end of Spirit Week and enjoy a night of music, memories, and fun with friends.
