As a district, we earned an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, reflecting the hard work of our students, staff, and families. Highlights include:
-
Huron High School earned 5 stars for the third consecutive year.
-
Woodlands Elementary received 4.5 stars, with a 5-star Achievement rating.
-
McCormick Middle School earned a 3.5-star rating, with strong progress in several areas.
In 14 of 20 academic indicators, our district maintained or outperformed last year’s scores. Even more encouraging, this marks the third straight year of declining chronic absenteeism, now down to 10.6%. Our district attendance rate is 94.7%—over three percentage points above the state average.
We will continue to review the data through the District Leadership Team to ensure that every student has the support and opportunities needed to succeed.
