Huron City Schools

Huron High School exams will be held on December 17th, 18th, and 19th. During exams, we are an open campus. This means that students are required to be here only when they are scheduled for their exams. For example, if your child has a study hall, they are not required to be in attendance.  The cafeteria will be open for our students and will be serving breakfast and lunch each day. All exams are weighted at 20% of the semester grade. It is the semester grade that is recorded on the transcript and calculated into a student’s GPA. We encourage our students to take the exams seriously and give their best effort.

December 17

7:25 AM – 9:15 AM  Study sessions available (optional)

9:25 AM – 10:55 PM    First Period Exam

11:00 AM – 12:55 PM    Second Period Exam and Lunch

First lunch is from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM    (English, Science, and Social Studies)

Second lunch is from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM    (Math and all other subjects)

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM    Third Period Exam and release 

December 18

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM     Sixth Period Exam and release 

December 19

All students will be released at 1:00 PM
